Just A Little Dust

Ever since I've gotten the staff parking in the basement, I've been coming in around 8.00 a.m. to work, instead of my usual 7.00 a.m.

The only reason I came in at 7 was because I wanted to get that free open air parking by the side of the road. Now that I don't have to beat the crowd to it, I thought I could sleep in a little later and wake up later and get to work by the official time, 8 a.m.

Strangely, I've found it not so good for me to come in that 'late'. I'd much rather come in earlier than anyone else, get everything done, and leave on time. Rather than come in later, have to stay back and going home miserable.

And so, this morning, I wandered in at 7 a.m. again. Ah, how nice to be the first person to walk into the office. The peace and quiet! No phones ringing. No one talking. Just me and my laptop and my cup of coffee.
