Today I felt like a mosquito.
*nods*
We had dinner and it was so horribly, horribly warm today that I slurped down one medium size glass of watermelon juice in two shakes of a rabbit's tail.
And so, I ordered another one. Of course, any rational mind would register that as a big mistake. What...another glass? One glass was probably more than enough. Ah, but you know what they say about mosquitos - if you take away the receptors in their stomachs, they will most probably drink and drink and drink blood until they explode.
Well, I think that's what almost happened. My stomach receptors were not functioning properly. Maybe because it was so warm, the wires probably got shot, I don't know.
Against better judgement, I ordered another glass and finished that one as well.
Wow! Wasn't that refreshing, eh?
I ended up walking home like a crab.
Lesson of the day: When the damn stomach receptors fail, listen to the brain, dammit :P
